A report from Megatrends Africa predicts a substantial increase in participation within Zimbabwe’s artisanal mining sector, estimating the number of miners to be between 500,000 and 1.5 million. The fluctuations within this range can be attributed to several factors such as seasonal changes, economic challenges, and rising gold prices.
However, despite these significant figures, the informal and cyclical characteristics of the sector hinder its capacity to offer consistent income for all miners and contribute positively to the broader economy.

Magaya Mining currently operates three processing sites that incorporate a range of processing technologies, from custom milling to CIP/CIL.

Head Office
We are currently in the process of setting up a head office in our country’s capital, Harare. This will allow us to expand to new areas across Zimbabwe in order to affect more chance throughout our beloved country.
